  • Let's make meth at walmart!

    http://www.tulsaworld.com/specialpro...0_Awoman937468

Woman was arrested trying to make meth in the walmart bathroom in tulsa.

Well trying to that is. One of the cops figures she didn't know how to do it since she'd forgotten one of the main ingredients. Still what she managed to blend up was caustic enough to apparently burn through a leather glove one of the cops was wearing. He's ok though. He got his glove off before he got injured.

    talk about brazen!

Seriously, why make meth in a WAL-MART bathroom?! I've heard of portable meth labs out there.

      Ahhh Tulsa...

And this doesn't surprise me. We have a huge meth problem in Oklahoma. That and weed.

Also doesn't suprise me that she mixed it wrong either.

We have a large problem here in Kentucky with meth, too. The knuckle heads are making it in what the police are calling "shake and bake"-something to do with soda pop bottles and not needing to "cook" it. Must be a chemical cooking process or something like that. It amazes me that people will stoop to such levels to make/sell or make/use such a horrible drug. Meth is so much more dangerous than what we've seen told about other drugs. We recently had a bust in a local bed n breakfast place. Countless numbers of people have been injured or killed when their houses exploded. Maybe it's just nature's way of weeding out the stupid. Too bad there is often innocent children that have no choice but to live in the middle of it.

I saw a video article about this drug in Russia called Krokodil that's supposed to be a really cheap and horrible version of heroin. They call it Krokodil because it turns your skin green and scaly like a crocodile and the effects are horrifying to say the least. I just don't get how some people would want to use all those caustic chemical concoctions for a cheap high. Pretty dumb to try and do a meth lab in a Walmart bathroom stall.

I'm vaguely sad that this didn't involve the standard exploding meth lad scenario (b/c really, exploding walmart bathroom would be funny)

the sad part is she wasnt making it in the bathroom, she was walking down the isles and pouring the stuff in to an empty soda bottle.

sadly i had thought we had gotten a handle on this kind of production, guess not.

tropicsgoddes, your post got me curious, and i had to look and...ugh....I hope this krokodil stuff NEVER makes it to the US! Horrible! As for WalMart Meth Lab lady...stupidity, plain and simple, but that comes with the drug habit, I suppose!

Sad thing is, that woman is probably only in her early 30's. She looks a lot older. Meth destroys your health, if it doesn't just outright kill you.

I did some google searching. There's a 30-second video which shows the effects of krokodil. The last few seconds show something that looks like bone

It's terrible to say the least (it makes the effects of meth look tame in comparison). Here's where I saw the article. Originally they had only part one of the video (it's 4 parts) on CNN.com but then the curiosity got the better of me and I went and saw the other parts on vice.com. Here's the link:

According to the article she is 45.
