my bf now wants to cut a clipping of the eggs to put them in a jar to watch them hatch
dunno if he will though... but not in the apartment. so far we've decided - if he does this - it will be in a jar and that jar will be upside down in water. So, if the bugs escape they'l just drown.
they shouldn't have any lyme disease cos they're newborns and haven't picked it up yet but still *shudder*
tho even he's wary of having them near the dog still. cos he's also worried about things like "Grey death" apparently he found some images of a deer that brushed up against a clutch of tick eggs that were just about to hatch. the eggs hatched and the baby ticks sucked the deer dry
