There's a group on facebook called We Are Michael Burns. Apparently it's one of the most popular names in the US. My friend's a member. He said it's a joke that they all have trouble getting through the airport because one of them somewhere did something naughty and messed it up.

So, I put some of my friends' names in there to see what came up. Then I made a name up.
Used a very common last name, but what I thought to be a rather unique first name.

And I happen to know my paternal line takes its surname from a single man who came into the country in 1692, though other parts of his side is descended from a Mayflower immigrant and a founder of New Amsterdam. Mom's side originally came here in 1740 to Northkill, in Berks County PA.

I'm descended from the Mayflower, too.

BUT the one little thing that struck me as really funny is that my <firstname> (clearly a male name) is only 99.79% males.

This makes me wonder why someone would name their female child <firstname>????

Before I got married, there was one of me. One.

After I took my husband's last name, which is boringly common, there are 1880 of me!

Though if I put in my first name as my nickname, it says there are 8.

I should have hyphenated my last name when I changed it...
