This is just heartbreaking. Why the kids? Why? What could have been happening in this man's head to somehow think innocent children needed shooting? I haven't let go of my boy since this story broke (well, he's napping now) Hug your kids today people, and always make sure they know you love them.

Death toll up to 20 kids now, 2 more passed in the hospital. The shooter's mother was their teacher. He killed her first then went after the kids.

I couldn't agree more. Senseless, pointless violence robbed so many innocent children of their lives. So many families heartbroken.

The Onion usually writes satirical news stories, but they can also write poignant ones. They did on 9/11, and they've done one on this case. (Language NSFW) And it rather sums up what I'm feeling and incapable of verbalizing right now.
