Hasn't at least one person on this site mentioned that it's illegal to make servers pay for dine-and-dashers?
As for the second guy ... what kind of twit eats somebody else's food?? Aside from the manners and self-preservation issue, you have no idea whether they've drooled all over it before they walked away. -
Pixilated, more than one has mentioned it. I've seen it often enough here and elsewhere that I just HAD to look up the relevant gov agency and find an info link.

Yep, it specifically states that "Employees may not be required to pay for any of the cost of such items"
and the list of items includes being forced to pay for food a customer steals
and it looks like someone also posted the link in a comment on the letter as well.Comment
