Back in 1998 China stopped building their unofficial disneyland. Apparently it's still standing though and now people go there just to take photos of how creepy the thing looks after about 15 years of neglect.

Somehow, I could totally see myself visiting the place at some point just for how creepy it looks. Pretty cool though!

Lots of people do that with abandoned areas. Prypiat's one example. Centralia PA is another.
