More Matches & Teams for #YOLT Announced

A lot of eyes are on both Chikara Pro and Wrestling Is Fun! this coming weekend, as the 2014 Tag World Grand Prix may be for more than just WIF fruit (if the rumors that the WIF tag-team championship will be pears, a la the singles "Top" Banana Championship). As noted, Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy (Lance Steel & Jolly Roger) are currently in possession of the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas belts, although they are not recognized as official champions. KE4TPG came to have the belts thanks to their manager, "Princess" Kimber Lee, who seemingly acquired them in the Chikara asset auction held by the Titor Conglomerate last year.

Now, however, it has been announced that the fourth team in the 4-Corner Elimination Tag Match at Chikara Pro's "You Only Live Twice" event will be the winners of the TWGP. There are four teams in the running-- the Devastation Corporation (Max Smashmaster & Blaster McMassive), 3.0 (Shane Matthews & Scott Parker), The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield & Mr. Touchdown), and Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy (Lance Steel & Jolly Roger).

Also at YOLT, two men who have been active in the Wrestling Is network will come to Chikara, as it will be Jervis Cottonbelly vs Juan Francisco de Coronado. Cottonbelly got his start in Chikara, a quintessential British gentleman and nicknamed "the world's sweetest guy," going into a brief retirement before deciding to dust off his bowler hat and return to the ring. Juan Francisco, the Ecuadorian Aristocrat, is an arrogant, conceited blowhard, known for his protracted entrances and utter refusal to play by the rules.

    Dates for NC/VA Announced

The dates for "Thunderball" and "Moonraker," Chikara's trips to North Carolina and Virginia, have been announced. "Thunderball" will be in Gibsonville, NC on October 25, while "Moonraker" will be in Richmond, VA on October 26.

The fact that this leaves a noticeable gap in September has already got Chikara fans buzzing. In 2012, Chikara Pro hosted "King of Trios" in September. Fans are salivating at the prospect of Chikara's flagship tournament weekend making its long-awaited return.

      Easton Card Finalized!

Chikara Pro announced via their Twitter the final match of "You Only Live Twice," a trios match between The Colony vs Colony: XTREME Force. The Colony-- Fire Ant & Green Ant, along with the new Worker Ant AssailANT-- have finally gelled as a team, after AssailANT stuck by his new comrades against The Flood at NPWD. The CXF-- Arctic Rescue Ant, Orbit Adventure Ant, & Missile Assault Ant-- are the corporate cash-in knock-offs of the heroic ants, and are on the villainous payroll of the Titor Conglomerate and hence members of The Flood. The CXF even tried to burn down the Wrestle Factory, until AssailANT stood up to them.

EDIT: Chikara Pro recognizes that the history may be a little convoluted, so they've started releasing new "Previously On Chikara" videos to summarize events.

First up? The Colony, highlighting events from their King of Trios 2011 win, through the invasion of GEKIDO's Swarm faction, the Chikarabermetrics swap between Soldier Ant and AssailANT, and then the introduction of the Colony: XTREME Force and Soldier Ant's resignation.

Final Update for "You Only Live Twice"

Wrestling is Fun held the Tag World Grand Prix tonight, with the Throwbacks winning over the Devastation Corporation. After Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy lost, the Pieces of Hate showed up and brawled with them to the back for stealing/having the Campeonatos de Parejas belts.

A web series on Chikara's YouTube called "Rough Waters" have centered around a man named Dalton Castle, nephew of the seemingly deceased Lester "Darkness" Crabtree, who received an inheritance from him. Dalton rechristens himself "Smooth Sailin'" Ashley Remington, and rents himself a yacht to get from Albany, NY to Easton, PA... Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4

Event Center videos over the last month have featured words from Jimmy Jacobs, Icarus and Kobald, 3.0 and UltraMantis Black, and Eddie Kingston.

Chikara has also released some "Previously on Chikara" videos, summarizing the storylines surrounding The Colony, Wink Vavasseur, and Icarus vs the Titor Conglomerate.

"You Only Live Twice" Final Card
        • The Main Event: Grand Championship Bout! - Eddie Kingston defends vs Icarus
        • First Time Ever! - The Colony vs Colony: XTREME Force (Fire Ant, Green Ant, AssailANT vs Arctic Rescue Ant, Orbit Adventure Ant, Missile Assault Ant)
        • Four Will Enter - One Will Survive! - 4 Corner Elimination Tag Team Match - 3.0 vs GEKIDO vs Pieces of Hate vs The Throwbacks (Shane Matthews & Scott Parker vs 17 & DeviANT vs Jigsaw & The Shard vs Dasher Hatfield & Mr. Touchdown)
        • Clash of the Titans! - Jimmy Jacobs vs Archibald Peck
        • Six-Man Mayhem! - Sinn Bodhi & The Odditorium vs The Batiri (Sinn Bodhi, Oliver Grimsley, Qefka the Quiet vs Obariyon, Kodama, Kobald)
        • A Titanic Trios Contest! - The Spectral Envoy vs Bruderschaft Des Kreuzes (UltraMantis Black, Hallowicked, Frightmare vs Ares, Nøkken, Milo Schnitzel)

          MAY RESULTS

          "You Only Live Twice"
Attendance was somewhere around 1500. Very large crowd. During the Expansion Pack pre-show, there was a match involving the Baltic Seige taking on the Bloc Party. I know nothing apart from the fact that the Seige won. "The Flood" is confirmed as the name for the rudo super-group.

          1. Die Bruderschaft Des Kreuzes (Ares, Nøkken, Tursas) (w/ Milo Schnitzler) def. The Spectral Envoy (UltraMantis Black, Hallowicked, Frightmare) with the Ragnarok on Frightmare. Ares, Nøkken & Schnitzler came out first, and when Mantis addressed them from the aisle-- bragging about how the BDK was vanquished before, and how the Envoy are the current King of Trios champions-- Tursas came out and blindsided them. The finish came when Hallowicked & Frightmare set up for the Headless Horseman (top-rope elevated cutter) on Ares, only to be cut off by Tursas & Nøkken, who hoisted Frightmare up, allowing Ares to shove 'Wicked out of the ring and then deliver the Ragnarok (triple-team elevated iconoclasm) finisher. (For the record, Nøkken was pronounced "Noh-ken" by Gavin Loudspeaker, but pronounced "Knock-in" by the commentators.)

          2. Ashley Remington def. Chuck Taylor via submission with the Anchors Aweigh (modified inverted figure four?) submission. Remington was accompanied to the ring by a couple of attractive ladies, who went to the back after the entrance. Chuckie T is back in his classic rudo form. Remington was quite good as well. Post-match, Remington's girls came back out and presented Taylor with a basket of fruit, which he seemed to like quite a lot.

Before the next match, the new owner of Chikara, Robbie Ellis, came out with Shayne Hawke, to give his first address to the Chikara faithful since acquiring the company. He called himself an appreciator of art, and that Chikara is a work of art. He then named the new Director of Fun, Mike Quackenbush. Quack, still limping and walking with a cane, thanked the fans for the past 12 years and called this a "homecoming."

          3. The Batiri (Obariyon, Kodama, Kobald) def. The Odditorium (Sinn Bodhi, Oliver Grimsly, Qefka the Quiet) via disqualification when Bodhi kicked one of the Batiri in the groin. The fans hated Qefka, who did get a "Kill the mime!" chant. Bodhi tried to avoid getting in the ring with the Batiri if they were in any way capable of fighting back, and when the Batiri started getting too much momentum, he deliberately kicked one of them in the crotch to draw the DQ.

          4. Juan Francisco de Coronado def. Jervis Cottonbelly with a bridging German suplex after turning Jervis' mask sideways. JFDC was hated by the fans, who booed him mercilessly throughout his entrance and his pre-match promo, which couldn't be heard over the jeering. Jervis presented a woman with a bouquet of roses during his entrance. Jervis initially evaded or countered all of JFDC's cheating attempts, but in the end, the Ecuadorian managed to twist Jervis' mask sideways to set up the finish.

          5. The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield & Mr. Touchdown) def. The Pieces of Hate (Jigsaw & The Shard), GEKIDO (17 & DeviANT), and 3.0 (Shane Matthews & Scott Parker) in a four-corner elimination tag match, last eliminating the Pieces of Hate when Touchdown caught Shard with a stalling superplex. 3.0 were first eliminated after a sequence of moves by the Pieces of Hate, but 17 snuck in to get the pinfall. GEKIDO went next by the Throwbacks, and after they were eliminated, Kid Cyclone & Create-A-Wrestler, two Wrestle Factory students, charged out and attacked them, looking for revenge for what happened to Private Eye Jr. (17 snapped his neck.) Hallowicked came out and ordered the students to the back.

          Intermission.

          6. Jimmy Jacobs (w/ plague doctors) def. Archibald Peck via pinfall after one of the plague doctors hit Peck with Jacobs' mask behind the ref's back. Peck was hugely popular, of course, but Jacobs had a vocal minority supporting him. (This led to dueling "Marchie Archie"/"Marchie Archie" chants to try to drown out the "Jimmy Jacobs" chants.) Peck at one point hit Jacobs with 10 consecutive DDTs, which somehow didn't finish the match.

          7. Colony XTREME Force (Arctic Rescue Ant, Orbit Adventure Ant, Missile Assault Ant) (w/ DeviANT) def. The Colony (Fire Ant, Green Ant, AssailANT Worker Ant) when Missile Assault Ant hit Fire Ant with a Missile Launcher (lawn dart) into an exposed turnbuckle. AssailANT is now completely the new Worker Ant, wearing black-and-blue ring gear, and coming out wearing a hard hat and tool belt. CXF never shut up (especially Missile Assault Ant) throughout the match, and after winning, CXF held up the 2011 King of Trios medals in a gloating fashion after the match, which got them their asses kicked, and the Colony stole the medals back. Worker Ant pointedly did not put his medal on, and his body language suggested that he knew it didn't belong to him.

Before the main event, Gavin Loudspeaker confirmed what we were all hoping for-- that KING OF TRIOS is back! Dates were not announced at the show, but the tickets are on sale now. King of Trios is September 19th through September 21st in Easton, PA.

          8. Icarus def. Eddie Kingston to become Grand Champion of Chikara by passing Kingston out to the Chikara Special hold. Icarus wore new gear, sort of Greatest American Hero-themed, and had the full support of the crowd. Kingston was getting heckled frequently with "Burger Kingston" chants, though he looked in decent enough shape-- for Kingston, mind. Icarus would not stay down, kicking out of everything King threw at him and kept fighting back, prompting fans to chant "You can't beat him!" at Kingston. The entire tecnico locker room emptied out to cheer on Icarus. Icarus managed to get Kingston up to deliver the Blu-Ray (death valley driver into the turnbuckles) before clamping on the Chikara Special, to which Kingston passed out.

After the finish, while the tecnicos were celebrating, the entire Flood swarmed into the building from the side entrance-- including the Wrecking Crew and Dr. Cube's Posse. But then came a huge man wearing combat gear and a Predator/Bane-like mask, leading Delirious and Soldier Ant, who had bags over their heads. This huge man-- possibly the 'Titan of Titor'-- entered the ring and took the bags off their heads, prompting Delirious to immediately attack UltraMantis Black, and Soldier Ant to dive out of the ring onto the Colony! A huge brawl broke out between the tecnicos and the Flood, during which the Titan stood in the ring. Kobald got in the ring and tried to spear him-- only to bounce off. The Titan gave him a huge chokeslam over his knee, seemingly breaking Kobald's back. The Flood eventually receded and left, and the tecnicos carried Kobald to the back.

            Chikara Updates

Coming out of "You Only Live Twice," we have a new Grand Champion of Chikara in Icarus, who defeated Eddie Kingston with the Chikara Special submission hold.

Also at the show, Mike Quackenbush was announced as the new Director of Fun by Chikara's new owner, Robbie Ellis. Quackenbush replaces Wink Vavasseur, who remains M.I.A. after being captured by Condor Security.

The Flood has three new confirmed members, first being Delirious and Soldier Ant, who attacked the tecnicos at the command of the third new member, the as-yet-unnamed massive brute, possibly the "Titan of Titor."

This brute also broke Kobald's back so badly that the rest of the Batiri have confirmed that Kobald is no more. Good night, sweet goblin prince. This brings the "death toll" of people slain or crippled by Flood members to six: Tianlong, Dragonfly, Dragon Dragon, Darkness Crabtree, Private Eye Jr., Kobald.

Probably of interest to everyone who loves indie wrestling, however, is the fact that the big one is back -- King of Trios 2014 has been announced for September 19-21, 2014 in Easton, PA.

                More Chikara News

"Diamonds are Forever," Chicago's evening show, has had its first match announced. Billed as "Seeking Vengeance," it will feature The Batiri vs The Odditorium. Obariyon & Kodama, still reeling after the destruction of Kobald at the hands of the still-unnamed 'Titan,' are looking for #Vengeance4Kobald, and are going after Sinn Bodhi's Odditorium, Oliver Grimsly & Qefka the Quiet. The circus performer and the evil mime may have the blessing of the former 'Kizarny,' but can they overcome revenge-seeking demons?

It seems that the Wrestle Factory rookies-- Kid Cyclone, Equinox III, and Create-a-Wrestler II-- will be making their Chikaraverse debuts in August, when they wrestle for Wrestling Is Fun at their August event, "Don't Eat the Green One." Unfortunately, specifics about their debut match(es?) have yet to be revealed.

                  Chikara Update!
Green Ant of the Colony addressed concerns from fans and peers that being called "Green Ant" implies that he's inexperienced, when he's proven he's no longer a rookie. To that end, he has rechristened himself Silver Ant, after the Saharan silver ant. (Much as "green ant" is another name for the leaf-cutter ant.)

New matches have been announced for the June shows.

Chicago's afternoon show has added two new matches, as the former AssailANT tangles with his former comrade in The Swarm. Worker Ant vs DeviANT will surely be heated after Worker emphatically threw aside his ties to the GEKIDO faction and after DeviANT tried to rip his mask off during the hiatus. Also, two members of the Baltic Seige [sic] will go up against two other Eastern Europeans, one of whom is known to them as a member of the Bloc Party, while the other is an as-yet-unknown, as it will be Latvian Proud Oak & Lithuanian Snow Troll vs Mr. Azerbaijan & Prakash Sabar.

Another match has been added to the Chicago evening show, as the former Grand Champion collides with the chosen leader of the Flood. Eddie Kingston vs Jimmy Jacobs will be a war, as Jacobs has shown he will do anything he has to in order to win, while Kingston has shown no fear about going up against an entire army. Of note, Wink Vavasseur revealed during the hiatus that Condor/Titor had wanted to groom Kingston to be their field commander, but he'd proven resistant.

And finally, another match has been added to the Detroit show, as two types of gentlemen will go head-to-head. On the one side, there's the quintessential British gentleman, on the other, the irascible Kentucky Gentleman. It will be Jervis Cottonbelly vs Chuck Taylor.

                    Chikara Update 6/7

Two more matches have been announced for Chicago's shows. In the afternoon, Mr. Touchdown & Dasher Hatfield will collide for the first time ever with Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin. It will be The Throwbacks vs AC/DC. In the evening, Wrestling Is Heart's Midwestern mainstay and trainer will go up against the Ecuadorian Aristocrat. It will be Billy Roc vs Juan Francisco de Coronado.

Also, the "Titan of Titor" has spoken on the most recent event center, stating "If there is a drought of violence in your lives, the Flood is here." Jimmy Jacobs has stated on Twitter that the Titan is called Deucalion. In Greek mythology, Deucalion was the son of the Titan Prometheus. On Archie Peck's conspiracy board in the "Ashes - When?" video, there is a note reading "Conrad = Prometheus." Also, the No Private Army blog stated that there was a Condor operative called "Duke" that was active in Africa and other places. Speculation on the 101 Forums is that Deucalion could be "Duke," and with the Greek mythology link, it adds fuel to the theory that Deucalion is related to Conrad. Some speculate that the 'Titan' could be Wink Vavasseur, although this theory isn't popular.

                      Chikara Update 6/10

Several more matches have been confirmed for the Midwest shows.

At Chicago's afternoon show, two of Chikara's top teams will collide in a match that will have major implications in the tag team division. On one side, the reunited Egyptian tandem of "The Madjai" Amasis and the "Snake Spirit" Ophidian, on the other, the dethroned champions in Jigsaw & The Shard. It will be The Osirian Portal vs The Pieces of Hate.

At Chicago's evening show, the main event has been announced, a trios match featuring the time-traveling trio that saved the day at NPWD, Parker, Matthews, and Peck, colliding with the back-on-the-strength force that once conquered Chikara. It will be 3Peck0 vs The BDK. The only trick is, it hasn't been announced who will be representing the BDK. Will it be the same trio we saw at "You Only Live Twice," or does the devious Ares have more soldiers ready to jump at his call?

And in Detroit, three more matches have been announced. In singles competition, the high-flying "Spirit Dragon" makes his return to Chikara, but has to go up against the hard-hitting "War King." It will be Shynron vs Eddie Kingston.

In a match billed as "Multiple Man Mayhem," the great and devious UltraMantis Black's team will go up against the nefarious invaders that nearly splintered Chikara in 2012. It will be The Spectral Envoy vs GEKIDO. However, nothing has been confirmed over the size of the teams involved. Will it be a trios match? A 4-on-4 tag? We don't know yet.

And in the main event, it will be a 10-man tag team war, as demons team with ants. On one side, Fire Ant, the rechristened Silver Ant, and Worker Ant team up with Obariyon & Kodama. On the other, the dread army that will stop at nothing to wash away Chikara once again. It will be The Colony & The Batiri vs The Flood. Once again, however, the rudo team's members have not yet been revealed.

                        Chikara Update 6/12

Chikara's Events page on their website lists Wrestling Is Fun events now as well. Given that there is some crossover in terms of events there, and certainly in terms of rosters, I'll include the WIF events as well. WIF has two events coming up later this year, the first at the end of June in Reading, PA, called "Bananastar Galactica." Three matches have been confirmed, a singles match between the Osirian Portal's Ophidian vs Max Smashmaster of the Devastation Corporation, a grudge match between Lance Steel & Jolly Roger's Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy vs The Pieces Hate's Jigsaw & The Shard, and in the main event, the Top Banana Championship will be on the line, as Amasis defends vs Juan Francisco de Coronado.

Two more matches have been confirmed on the Chicago shows. In the afternoon show, the rivalry from WIF will come to Chikara, as the Baltic Seige's mighty amphibian will collide with the Bloc Party's porcine warrior. It will be Estonian ThunderFrog vs Proletariat Boar of Moldova. In the evening show, there is some unfinished business among the ants. Stinging from having their (undeserved) medals taken away, Orbit Adventure Ant & Missile Assault Ant are looking to score some retribution on Fire Ant & Silver Ant. It will be The Colony vs Colony: XTREME Force in tag-team action.

                          Chikara Update 6/15

Amasis has had to pull out of the Midwest shows for reasons as yet unclear. It also remains to be seen what this means for his Top Banana defense in Wrestling Is Fun at the end of the month. Accordingly, the cards has shuffled around to accommodate this change.

Chicago's afternoon show now sees the Throwbacks vs The Submission Squad's "Pistol Danger" Evan Gelistico & Gary the Barn Owl. The last time the Squad was in Chicago, they accidentally killed the power to the Logan Square Auditorium. Hopefully that won't happen this time. The Throwback's original opponents will now face the Osirian Portal's original opponents, in The Pieces of Hate vs AC/DC. Lastly, Amasis' partner will now go up against the Wrecking Crew's savage bruiser, in Ophidian vs Jaka.

Detroit has added Chikara's signature 4-Corner Survival tag-team match to the card. Dasher Hatfield & Mr. Touchdown will face off against Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin, while the Flood will field the Scandinavian giants of Tursas & Nøkken as well as Oliver Grimsly & Qefka the Quiet. Points are in play, and any team could find themselves in possession of enough points to challenge for the tag titles. It will be The Throwbacks vs BDK vs AC/DC vs The Odditorium in Detroit.

On Chikara's Event Center on YouTube, 17 answered the threats of Kid Cyclone and the Wrestle Factory students, who were incensed that the dangerous submission expert had yet to face justice for what he'd done to their friend, Private Eye Jr. 17's response was simply that this was a war, fought by soldiers, and when Deucalion ordered him to attack Private Eye Jr. like that, he obeyed. Essentially, 17 was attempting to absolve himself of any guilt. It remains to be seen if that will be accepted, which it probably will not. (For reference, 17 pronounced it "Doo-cal-yon.")

                            Chikara Update 6/18

It appears that the cards for Chikara's only Midwest tour have been finalized. At present, Chicago's evening show only has six announced matches (versus the seven for the afternoon show and the Detroit show), but there could be an unannounced match on the day of the show.

A video was posted on Chikara's YouTube site today, titled "Vengeance4Kobald," it centers around Deucalion's deadly destruction of Kobald and the Batiri's thirst for revenge.

                              Chikara Update & Midwest Results!
NOTE: Details forthcoming as they come.

In a blog posted on Chikara's website, Mike Quackenbush stated that he is booking the Flood's forces in matches because he believes it's best to confront this threat head-on rather than allow them to attack outside the ring.

He also stated that the 3-point system for Chikara's tag-team division will remain in effect, but that he is wiping the slate clean, and all teams will be starting at 0 points starting from before "You Only Live Twice."

"Quantum of Solace" (Chicago - 1pm)

                              1. The Throwbacks def. The Submission Squad with the "Bo Jackson" (double-team Lightning Spiral) on Gary the Barn Owl to earn their 3rd point.

                              2. Ophidian def. Jaka Heidi Lovelace with a bridging O'Connor roll pin. Heidi replaced Jaka, as Jaka was pulled to replace Max Smashmaster in the main event, as Smashmaster was having travel issues.

                              3. The Baltic Seige def. The Bloc Party via rollup, but got beat down by the Bloc Party after the match.

                              4. Worker Ant def. DeviANT via Pumphandle GTS.

                              5. Pieces of Hate def. AC/DC via Jig'n'Tonic on Arik Cannon.

                              6. Proletariat Boar of Moldova def. Estonian ThunderFrog via the Boar Gore. The Boar continued to beat on ThunderFrog after the match, until the rest of the Baltic Seige made the save.

                              7. The Spectral Envoy def. The Wrecking Crew when UltraMantis Black tapped Oleg the Usurper to the Chikara Special.

                              Chicago's Expansion Pack

                              1. Chuck Taylor def. Shynron with the Awful Waffle in an exclusive match for those who attended the Expansion Pack fan event.

"Diamonds are Forever" (Chicago - 7pm)

                              1. Old Fashioned def. Los Ice Creams with stereo backslides.

                              2. Max Smashmaster def. Jojo Bravo with a Moonsault.

                              3. Blind Rage def. Mat Fitchett with a sit-out Splash Mountain bomb.

                              4. The Odditorium def. The Batiri via excesivo de castigo, as the Batiri kept beating on Oliver Grimsly without going for a pin.

                              5. Juan Francisco de Coronado def. Billy Roc. JFDC ended intermission with a long promo.

                              6. The Colony def. Colony XTREME Force when Silver Ant tapped Orbit Adventure Ant to the Chikara Special.

                              7. Jimmy Jacobs def. Eddie Kingston with a spear. Before the match, Jacobs asks Kingston to join The Flood, saying King is fighting a war he cannot win, mentioning Deucalion. Kingston attacked Jacobs to start the match. Mid-match, Jacobs mentioned "her," bringing King to a halt, and said he could help Kingston get "Her" back. After some mental debate, Kingston allowed Jacobs to hit him with the spear and did not attempt to kick out.

                              8. BDK vs 3Peck0 3Peck0 & The Batiri def. BDK & The Odditorium via rollup on Grimsly. The match is made after The Flood storm the ring during the initial 6-man. When the locker room empties to clear them out, the match becomes a 10-man Tag.

                              "Goldfinger" (Detroit - 3pm)

                              1. The Throwbacks def. The Odditorium & BDK & AC/DC in Four-Corner Survival to earn four points!

                              2. Ophidian def. Movado.

                              3. Jaka def. Estonian ThunderFrog with his feet on the ropes.

                              4. Devastation Corporation def. 3.0 with a top-rope senton from Max Smashmaster.

                              5. Chuck Taylor def. Jervis Cottonbelly.

                              6. Spectral Envoy def. GEKIDO & Missile Assault Ant. GEKIDO was represented by 17, The Shard, and Jigsaw.

                              7. Eddie Kingston def. Shynron after Jimmy Jacobs whispered something in King's ear.

                              8. The Colony & The Batiri def. The Flood in 10-Man Tag-Team action. The Flood was represented by Jimmy Jacobs, Ares, DeviANT, Oleg the Usurper, and Volgar, one of the "plague doctors." DeviANT ate the pin, and after the match, Deucalion came out and "killed" him like he did to Kobald.

                                Chikara Update 6/30

Over in Wrestling Is Fun, at "Bananastar Galactica," among other results, the Pieces of Hate (Jigsaw & The Shard) defeated Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy (Lance Steel & Jolly Roger) and took back possession of the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas belts. KE4TPG had acquired the belts when their manager, 'Princess' Kimber Lee, purchased them in an auction, presumably from Titor Conglomerate. Whether KE4TPG's possession of the belts will count as a proper reign, or if the Pieces of Hate's title reign will pick up from where it left off, remains to be seen. Many fans are awaiting an answer to this conundrum from Chikara Director of Fun Mike Quackenbush.

Also, Juan Francisco de Coronado defeated Amasis to claim WIF's 'Top Banana' Championship.

The first match of the July shows has been announced, as it will be a rematch from YOLT. The yacht-sailing gentleman of leisure will take on the cantankerous Kentucky Gentleman, as it will be "Smooth Sailin'" Ashley Remington vs Chuck Taylor.
