Logitech device likes itself on Facebook

This is bizarre...lady bought a Logitech mouse, and when she plugged in the receiver, several windows opened and when she went to her Facebook page, found that Logitech had been liked, when she previously hadn't.

I'm just wondering in the "flurry of windows" if she clicked "OK" on anything.

Cos … I've known people who just click "ok" without reading.

That rodent would be going right back to the store, on the grounds that it's defective (due to the accompanying driver package being infested with malware). "Auto-liking" the manufacturer is ONE visible symptom of the malware - but what else does it do?
