nope. I love to bake, which i'm awesome at. But cooking is not something I rock. I think it's because i liked baking as a kid, and my parents don't really cook. So I didn't learn how to cook, and now i find it annoying. Like, the first time made chicken in a frying pan I didn't add oil because you don't need to add oil to pork or beef, so why would you need to do it to chicken? It was very burnt and gross.
TPBM will teach me how to love cooking, and explain obvious stuff like using oil for chicken.

Ummmmm.... I like them in theory... and sometimes I even follow the recipe. Or start out by following it, and then do my modifications. I made pudding, and I only changed 4 out of 7 ingredients. It was considered by all to be a case of me following the recipe . (Switched to soy milk, increased the vanilla because soy milk needs more vanilla, decreased the sugar because it's decreasing the sugar, decreased the salt).
TBPM also considers recipes to be more of suggestions than anything else.
