Except for the slide guitar, which was credited to Ry Cooder (who did all the other music for Ralph Macchio in the movie), BUT Steve Vai did do the classical bit ("Eugene's Trick Bag") and the part where Butler messes up (damn that was painful to hear... I love it but still painful).

It took me YEARS to find that music on CD...
