That's okay, based on the several songs I've heard on Sirius XM so far (Channel 40, Liquid Metal, has been reformatted to All Metallica, All the Time from now through November 27th) they've FINALLY recaptured their CLASSIC sound from the late '80s on this album!

But don't take my word for it! Go onto YouTube and look up the following songs:

Touch, Peel and Stand - Days of the New

I'm just not impressed. It's okay, but I think I won't be spending any money on this album.

(Also, what's up with them doing a video for every song? Is this really the same band that made no videos at all for their first 3 albums?)

Some other artists have done that in recent years. For instance, Weird Al Yankovic did that on one of his more recent albums. Even had teams of animators make animated music videos for each song!

Also, and I can't stress this enough, IT'S NOT THE 1980S ANYMORE! Bands, like people, mature and grow and change over time. Their music changes along with them, if they have any artistic integrity at all, because they write their songs based on what they're thinking about and feeling at that moment in time.

However, there ARE bands that DON'T exhibit that artistic integrity, bands that have spent their whole careers just making and remaking basically the same album over and over and over again. If that's the kind of band you want, might I recommend Def Leppard?
