I am sad for my friend. Her father died last night. She's the first of my college gang to lose a parent. I was hoping he'd make it through Christmas.

Right now I'm thinking that it's nearly noon, the store's been open for nearly 2 hours, and it should be warmer in here than 61 frakkin' degrees! It was colder outside last week than it is this week, and the heat worked fine then.
