Fred follows all instructions, but seems a bit distracted. He starts noting some of the other things he's seen, hoping the person taking notes is still paying attention. He is more worried about getting the images of the flashes noted then his own health.

"Local species of spi-. S***! Get the affected antivenom for both recluse and widow. NOW! Savant, I don't care how, get me eyes and ears on this Tango. Use whoever you have to. Nice Remington 700, by the way."
He pointed at "J and K" again, "You two, find me the local US Army base with a HazMat unit and an EOD unit. I need full-on chemical gear and anti-explosives armor. The rest of you, keep the media and authorities under wraps. I hear about leaks, I will find those responsible and do things Abu Greib never even dreamed of.
"Also, let's assume we are on a VERY short time-frame and facing a cross between ALIENS and Hellboy 2. And if I hear anyone ask 'What's ALIENS?' I'll break their face on the nearest hydrant. You wanna know, Google it."Last edited by Tyg3rW01f; 06-06-2012, 09:38 PM.

Room 379
Black returns the object to it's box and closes the lid. "First, gloves. I didn't exactly have time to grab any, though, so I'm just being careful. That's why I've only held it by the chain - the effect seems to come from contact with the watch itself. Third, this is further evidence of something we already suspected - it reacts more strongly to those with what you'd call 'psychic' abilities. I'm very carefully making sure I don't copy anything off of Fred, Joey, or Solyn, among others with such traits around here."
He pulls out the blue light gadget again and gives it another pass through the air. "And something definitely happened, but it doesn't seem to have been here."
Doyle
As he walks, he could swear he hears the clatter of dice from somewhere. The sound, imagined or not, stirs his memory - hadn't the dream the noise had woken him from been about a casino or gambling or something?
Upon finding his way downstairs and asking around, he's informed that Black and a number of the others are over in research.
Cassandra's Team
Way out in California, Terry gets a sudden sense of something massively important happening far back to the East. It's impossible to tell what triggered it - all she knows is that her "sense important item" object picked up something normally far, far outside it's range.Last edited by KabeRinnaul; 06-06-2012, 05:14 PM.

Solyn chuckles as she helps Fred up. "Wise move." But more to Fred. "Let's go see if we can figure out what's going on with you."
Loren pipes up. "How do you move it if it reacts to touch?"

Agent Newton - Room 379
Joey gives Black a Significant Look. You'd better not be reading my mind, he thinks strongly toward the smug bastard. Outwardly, he shakes his head. "Probably not a good idea. If it had that kind of an effect on Fred, and if it's as old as you say, there's a high probability that it might break my brain if I touch it."
He lifts his hands and shakes his head again. "No thanks, I like my brain the way it is."

((wimp :P))
Sarah listens to the story, and the adverse reaction to what he saw, and privately makes it a point not to touch ANYTHING, but begins processing in her mind what he said he saw in his vision, and her eyes take on a slightly glazed look.

Doyle wakes with a start at the thud. He stares at the object for a moment and then wisely decides to go and get someone. He wanders off until he can find someone and ask where Black or anyone else in charge might be.

Room 379
Black looks surprised by it as well. "Now that is interesting. And regardless of the tests, I think I might want to have a private chat with you afterward. And while we're at it..." He looks over to Agent Newton. "Are you sure you don't want to touch it?"
Doyle's Room
A loud thud might awaken Doyle, as it sounds like a bowling ball just hit the floor of his room. If he gets up to investigate (or upon waking up later), we'll find an odd many-sided black object on the floor. It seems to be made of stone, roughly spherical in shape, but composed of flat sides - a dodecahedron, maybe - and about the size of a softball.

Solyn looks at him sharply, then pauses as she shakes her head. "That shouldn't...that's a new one. Do you mind if we take some scans and run some tests?"

Noticing the specks, and thinking it part of touching the item..Fred does what he thinks he should. He mentions it. "Um guys, think there is some sort of after affect of me touching the watch. Small smokey dark specks that seem to swirl around some of the people here in the room."

Cassandra's Team
"We'll hope that's what we're facing, then. To be honest, I was already hoping that. They're generally less threatening than fey. Alright. First stop, a shop we use as a small armory. Then we should probably split up and look for any signs of the ENs."
Once they're ready, she leads them off down the street.
Room 379
Black sits up. "Well then. A few of those I think I can identify, but not the majority. Though at least one of them sounds like it was actually a vision of the past. And once you can handle it, I'd like as good a description of the shadowed man as you can manage."
Though no on else notices anything, something seems a bit odd to Fred's vision - his actual eyesight, not his predictive ability. It's almost like faint black specks in his vision, a smoky distortion of the light in the corners of the room and slowly swirling around some of the people. It's not enough to impair his sight, but it's hard not to notice them, at least at first.
Atlanta
A few of the younger ones start following his directions, and a few who seem to have come out of a military background jump to it as well, working on re-establishing the perimeter. Unfortunately, once things start to get together, there are shouts and one group who was supposedly behind the line scatters as they're attacked by a swarm, and the line starts to shift to try and compensate. As for his call for senior agents, Agent Clark is soon met by the man who brought him in to begin with, now finally introduced properly as Agent Wood; a quiet man with a rifle, who introduces himself as Agent Savant; and a duo who seem to be permanent partners in the Foundation, Agents Browning and Winchester.
Savant speaks first. "That makes the third attempt." It seems he was in theory the ranking agent, but was a decidedly private person with no interest in commanding a group.
Wood follows, holding up a jar with several different spiders in it. "They're coming from all directions. They're all local species, but very agitated. I imagine the EN is somehow drawing them in.

AGENT: Master Chief Josiah McCowan / Mr. John W. Clark
LOCATION: Atlanta
Josiah had done fairly well in the turbolift, as he'd been on ships in tumultuous seas before. When they got to the EN site, however, he began asking questions, looking for whoever was in charge. Everywhere seemed to be the same answer: Panic, disorder, and chaos.
As he'd been given a very short briefing on what FEND was and on Agent names as well, Josiah figured if this whole thing was going to replicate the mission in Russia, he was the only one qualified for Command. To this end, he grabbed a bullhorn and leaped onto a car.
"Alright! All Agents gather up! My name is Mr. John W. Clark, and I am taking control of this Charlie-Foxtrot!"
Agents bickered, but Clark bulled over them. "As there is no Command structure in place, I am implementing such based on my Naval training and service! I need you all to F***ING LISTEN!"
He hopped down and pointed at K. "Get me the blueprints on this building!"
Pointing at K, he ordered, "Get a d*** perimeter up, 50 meters out! "
Again, he hit the bullhorn. "I need every Senior-level FEND Agent here with me."
Soon, Mr. Clark had turned absolute Chaos into a semblance of Order. "Okay, so which one of you Probies knows what we're dealing with?! And SOMEBODY get the casualties quarantined!!"

Agent Newton - Room 379
Joey stays back out of the way as Fred describes what he saw when he touched the Prometheus Object. More than ever, he resolves to never touch it if he can avoid it. He doesn't have the ability to see the future-- quite the opposite-- but again, something that unfathomably old would probably break his mind.
Watching Black observing the whole thing, however, Joey mentally puts him down as someone to take down a peg, however possible. He keeps his emotions in check, however. Ms. Kher was an empath, and Black had said he could copy anyone's power.
Regardless, Joey stuck around. Fred was technically one of his partners now, along with Romanza.
