The Pope is on a tour of the United States. One day he decides that he'd like to try driving the limo. The driver knows that you just don't say no to the Pope, so he settles in in the back while His Holiness sits up front and starts driving.
After a while, a state trooper pulls the limo over for speeding. The tropper looks at the Pope, then goes back to his car and gets on the radio.
"Um Sarge, I've just pulled over somebody very important. What should I do?"
"Oh crap, the Mayor's been drink driving again..."
"No, more important than him."
"The Govenor?"
"No, even more important."
"It's not the President is it?"
"No, even more important than him."
"More important than the President? Who could be more important than the President?"
"I don't know, but the Pope is his chauffeur."
