  • Frozen Crabs & the Blonde Stewardess

(Got this in E-Mail today, and thought it was perfect for here, considering it involves a "sucky customer". )

A lawyer boarded an airplane in New Orleans with a box of frozen crabs and asked a blonde stewardess to take care of them for him.

She took the box and promised to put it in the crew's refrigerator. He advised her that he was holding her personally responsible for them staying frozen, mentioning in a very haughty manner that he was a lawyer, and proceeded to rant at her about what would happen if she let them thaw out. Needless to say, she was annoyed by his behavior.

Shortly before landing in New York , she used the intercom to announce to the entire cabin,
"Would the lawyer who gave me the crabs, in New Orleans , please raise your hand

Not one hand went up, so she took them home and ate them.

    Two lessons here:

    1. Lawyers aren't as smart as they think they are.
    2. Blondes aren't as dumb as most folk think.

I saw this and I thought "I just read this the other day" and was confused why there were no new comments, even though it was bold in the forum menu.

Then I realized, I got it in my email the other day, too.

Heh, you had me scared for a second there.

Before posting, I did a search for "crab" in the Jokes Forum, so I wouldn't look like a fool if it had already been posted here. The only thing that came up was a totally different (also funny) joke from far enough back that the thread timed out and closed.

Another reason I like this joke, is because I don't recall hearing it before. I'm old, so for several years now I've felt I've heard every joke invented, and every joke that could be invented.

Plus, after more than a decade on the 'net, probably like everyone else, I've seen the same jokes over and over again in e-m forwards (although often times it's fun to re-visit some of those jokes )

I actually had seen it before (in email, also, but at least several months ago), but I knew I had seen it very recently, too.

I wonder why that didn't come up in my search?

Because you searched for "crab" instead of "crabs".

I would just like to point out that I posted this joke nearly a year ago: 09-12-2009, 12:53 PM

I can't remember what I read last night...I'm supposed to remember what I wrote (well, copypasted) last year?

On another note...how slow is this forum that a post from a year ago (last post in the thread from December) is only on page 2?

I wondered if that was it.

I'm used to Google, where typing in "crab" would include results such as crabs, crabshack, etc.

Would probably also return some results that you'd rather not know about.
