More than two years ago, my mom and I were shopping for a pair of winter boots for me. We went to several stores, but found none that would fit, or that I like.
I finally came across boots in Wal-Mart that look something like this:

The thing was that they were on top of a shoe shelf like this:

Now imagine the boots on top of the actual shelf. I had to tiptoe just to get to them.
The price on the tag was good, about $35.00 when we were ready to spend $50.00.
The kicker came when we went to ring them up. The tag price was $35.00, but the actual price?
$5.00 + tax = $5.65
What the heck?
It must have been a mistake, right?
NOPE!
It turns out that the boots were on clearance, and therefore, were final sale. I said that's fine, and bought them.
I have worn them each winter ever since, and still love them so!
