I don't know much, but my sister said the wiki how page on bearded dragons was quite helpful with my nephew's pet bearded dragon.

All I can say is to be sure which subspecies you get: each is native to a different ecosystem within Australia. Giving a desert Bearded Dragon a habitat for an arboreal one (or vice versa) will give you a sick pet.
Oh: and make certain you have a good exotic-species vet. I've seen a sad little dragon in a pet store - he couldn't even stand with his feet straight. The owner said he'd been brought back as 'sick': he'd been given insufficient calcium in his diet.Last edited by Seshat; 08-18-2013, 09:22 AM.Seshat's self-help guide:
1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.
