/sarcasm.
arrived on campus just after 7:30 am (8:15 class), parking was so packed it wasn't funny. finally luck out and find a front row parking spot less then a long long long sidewalk from my class.
English: 8:15am
Arrive early, wait outside the room and make small talk with a few other students waiting for the same class. Teacher shows up, lets us in, turns on music, then starts going over the syllabus. Dismisses on time (rather then early), and I am literally the oldest person in the room....even older then the teacher.
break...hour and a half sitting around with no internet since my laptop apparently HATES the wifi on campus.
Intro to communications studies: 11:35am
Class before us runs long, this class is only 55 minutes long. MASSIVE class...easily 350 students in this auditorium. Teacher takes the stage and after starting in on the class, talking about what's to be expected in the class, he gets many many MANY birds mentally flipped at him, when he tells us that he's gotten approval for funding from the college to go to DRAGON*CON on a research trip on Cosplay.
Frantic rush out of this over crowded room, to all but run across campus to my next class...
US History prior to 1877 12:35pm
Get there earliest (not late at least), slightly out of breath, to find the room almost full already. sit down in front, pull out paper, and...wait....and wait.....and wait!
Teacher finally shows up right on time, but is instantly forgiven when he starts going over the syllabus, announces he doesn't like the fast this class is 2 hours long, and says most days we'll get out 20 minutes early. Which is great in my opinion, since this is the last class of my Monday and Wednesdays.
This lovely older gentleman, has a nice soothing voice, and starting lecturing after going over course requirements, and tell us of quizzes that will help our grade considerably.
Overall:
I'm exhausted, I have HOMEWORK (2 reading assignments), and looking for ideas for 2 speeches over the course of the semester I must give.
A Informative speech, and a persuasive speech.
Anyone got thoughts on something I should write?
