Speaking of MLP...

I went to the Renaissance Festival last Saturday. One of the shops there sells these little dragons that you set on your shirt between your...assets (you can get little tip jars for them too). She apparently does custom stuff as well. When I was looking at the shop, a girl came in for her custom order. It was a My Little Pony figurine with her own little castle (the pony looked similar to Rarity, but not quite the same). Nice and sparkly, and glows in the dark. It was super cute.

Actually I had a question about the beads, Where do you get more paper to iron them with, the ones specifically for perler beads always come folded and those folds leave creases in the final product I find and I bought a roll of parchment paper froma grocery store and this is way too thick and they don't seem to fuse together as nicely. This is what's been holding me back from trying some bigger sprites because I have a fear of them shattering when I flip them over.

I've always just used parchment paper, store brand to boot. It does require a little bit more heat, but it works well. As far as I've seen, the thin paper from Perler only comes in those folded squares =/
