Well, from an "administrative" perspective, as long as a reasonable number of people tallied them I'll assume you sent them all out. Some people don't keep up with the tallies as well as they should. (Shame, shame!) And some people just tally them all up towards the end. Of course there's always the possibility of getting lost or delayed in the mail but that's hardly your fault.Quoth KatherineB View PostQuestion - what happens if people don't get our cards? I sent out 35 but according to the tally only 19 have been received. Do I have to send out another 16 or something?
While we're on the topic, I'll just remind y'all that you have until February 1st to tally your cards.
Edited to add: today I got a glitter bomb from peppergirlLast edited by BookstoreEscapee; 12-20-2013, 04:18 AM.I don't go in for ancient wisdom

I'll admit that I'm a little behind on my tallies. I really will get them done soon.
Agreed! I'm having loads of fun with this. The front door is covered with awesome cards (some fun or beautiful professional cards and some highly impressive homemade ones), and I've gotten several ornaments and a bookmark.Quoth morgana View PostY'all are such wonderful crazies!
I've also been getting cards from family and from business contacts like my insurance agent and the real estate agent who sold us our hours. What's weird is that, when I see the return address on those, I'm almost disappointed, like, "Aw, it's not a Customers Suck card. It's just from Uncle Dave." I like cards from family and friends, but these are more fun.
I'm just slightly paranoid about the impending glitter bomb I've been hearing about...
Quoth DaisyQueen View PostAlso, my daughter loves the Hawaiian shirt the best. She wants to take it to her kindergarten class and show everyone the present Mommy got.
Glad y'all are liking the shirts. I'm way too picky about store-bought cards, so I decided to make my own again.Quoth DGoddessChardonnay View PostAnd a right cool and colorful HawaiianShirt - that's too pretty to put on the tree. I think I'll make a place on the mantle.

If it's anything like the square glittery card from the UK that I got, then it's from MistressOfTangents. Got it a couple days ago here though I'm just now getting around to opening them (between family, CS, and customers, I've had to hang a second string from my ceiling to display them. At this rate, I'm going to probably end up with three lines of cards hanging from the ceiling this year.)Quoth EricKei View PostSince I been lazy, tally-ho! I the last couple of weeks, I've gotten:
