This happened last week when I was celebrating my birthday at a restaurant with my friends.
I needed to go to the washroom, so I looked for the signs and followed them. The signs were clear and in large type, read "washrooms" in lowercase and had the man and woman symbol on them, so it's not that hard to miss.
Which brings me to the friend in question. He needed to go to the washroom, so I told him to follow the signs. He went toward the sign and then went in the opposite direction. His girlfriend had to raise her voice and point out the way to him.
Her explanation? This thread title, which is: "He doesn't bother to read the signs!"
Which made me think of this site, BTW.
