Saw a link from once of my FLCS to huffingtonpost.com that says the studio that brought us ReBoot may be launching a new series, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the show next year!

Really got my fingers crossed about this.
The fact that Rainmaker's renamed their TV Show division back to Mainframe alone makes me giddy.
But I'm really really hopeful of this. And yes, I'm mourning the loss of Tony Jay; at least Megabyte had been mutated last we saw him, so they can handwave his voice change, but it's sad regardless.
And damn, 20 years since ReBoot started? Wow, that really makes me feel old now.
Amazing when you think of what CG Toons were back then and compare them to today.

The improvements in tech would make this look awesome, and this would be perfect for a channel like The Hub to pick up, seeing they're fixated on rebroadcasts of old shows already...

I just want them to finish the current story. the last movie/episode essentially had both sides (megabyte and the system defenders) no longer beating around the bush. They were going for a battle that would make Michael Bay squeal in glee, and nothing. I want my battle damnit!
And no, the comic Paradigms Lost does not help. It makes it worse.
