Ohhh I never would have thought of that but it sounds GOOD!

My weird foods that I like include:

raw hamburger. Been eating it since I was a kid
raw potatoes. Love them. Usually only eat part of one though.
Vanilla ice cream just doesn't go well with Dr. Pepper but chocolate is excellent

Raw potatoes are yummy with just a touch of salt.

I used to eat raw hamburger when I was a kid - found out the hard way why one shouldn't eat raw meat.
Figers are vicious I tell ya. They crawl up your leg and steal your belly button lint.

    I'm a case study.

And this year, I've only seen it in 2 stores for some reason.
I like it too. But you should absolutely track down a few recipes and find one that appeals to you and make one; worlds apart!

While I've not not had a Dr. Pepper float, I would think vanilla would be excellent with the black cherry flavor of DP. Probably better than chocolate.

If we're going for weird combinations:

-French fries dipped in chocolate ice cream
-Baked beans, mac & cheese and hot dogs all mixed up together (and it has to be my own baked beans, since pretty much all the canned varieties have the killer tomato in them)
At the conclusion of an Irish wedding, the priest said "Everybody please hug the person who has made your life worth living. The bartender was nearly crushed to death.

Hate to tell you this, kiddo, but fries and chocolate ice cream are not that odd.

Witness the success Wendy's has had with their Frostys and fries, and how many people combine the two.

I'm not a fan of Frosty's and never actually knew that it was a thing.

When my cousin was a kid, his preference was to dip one end in the Frosty and the other in ketchup and then eat it.

Ooh ooh speaking of combo + fries, a friend of mine and I have been known to ask for a little cup of the Big Mac sauce whenever we eat at McDonalds. We dunk our fries in it

If anyone wants to try some good braunschweiger, Hillshire Farms makes a good one. Also, you can get Kahn's (but it's harder to find.)

I don't know how weird this is, but we have a giant bag of just plain, not-toasted-or-salted-or-anything pecans and I've been known to, whenever it's brought out, grab a handful of 'em to just eat by themselves. They are quite yummy. I will only do this with pecans, though. Not peanuts, not almonds, not walnuts. Just pecans.

I think they taste better raw and untouched like that. Too many dang things have too much salt on them and had to be removed from the diet.

You'd have loved where I spent most of my childhood. Pecan trees often grew wild, and just about every neighborhood I lived in had several of them. In the fall, go pick up the fallen pecans and spend an evening shelling them. Rinse, repeat until you either run out of pecans (don't recall that ever happening) or you have as many as you can deal with.

Plain nuts are very nice - makes it easier to make your own roast flavored nuts to not have all that salt to deal with. My mom used to make us cinnamon brown sugar almonds with fresh almonds Dad would order from someone he knew out in California back in the day.

Lemon juice is also something I really like. Enjoying a glass right now.
