  • What did you have for Christmas dinner?

Ours was mushroom quiche with fontina cheese. Delicious.

Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, gravy. And gravy. There was other stuff but that's what I had. And a little mac & cheese.

    And apple pie for dessert.

      House Lo Mein.

Newish tradition with my dad. Brunch at my aunt's, then movies at the theater, then Chinese food.

Cooked a ham in the crock pot. Also made potatoes au gratin with Trader Joe's Fondue cheese, plus some shredded cheddar jack, and they turned out amazingly delicious!

We had turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, and biscuits. I also had some cranberry sauce. Hubby doesn't like cranberry sauce so it was mine all mine.

We had pit smoked wild turkey, beans, green beans and colcannon or baked potato. My daddy also put some onions with the turkey so we had those too. Oh and goat cheese with cranberries and cinnamon glaze. Ohhhh so good!!

Lots of turkey. Of course, in my family...it amounts to cannibalism

Of course the turkey was slathered in gravy and accompanied by mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, biscuits, and a bottle of wine from Cape May.

The most amazing roast beef my mother has ever made, and that's saying something, since she's a phenomenal cook. Also, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed broccoli and sauteed mushrooms.

Homemade lasagna, with pepperoni, beef and lamb meatballs, Italian sausage and lots and lots of at least three kinds of cheese, all gently floating in my boyfriend's family's red sauce. Kinda gooshy, but oh my gosh good. And Christmas Eve is always homemade pizzas with that same awesome red sauce for the pizza sauce.

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and I forget the vegetables ... with pumpkin pie for dessert.

Had dinner with Mom at the nursing home.

She loathes turkey (but will eat chicken ... personally, I can't really tell the difference) so she took the pork chops with the roasted potatoes.

She also stole half my stuffing.

Meh, we just did cheese and crackers. Partly because neither of us had time to cook and partly because neither of us have any money right now.

My tummy was quite full of beef brisket, asparagus and green beans.

My family doesn't do Christmas dinner, we do Christmas breakfast: Pigs in blankets and Mimosas. And then fruit/veggie/cheese trays for the rest of the day.

And then I went home and had steak and mashed potatoes with a salad.
