  • GIMME SOME SUN!!! Playlist....

OK, so 3/4 of the US in a deep freeze and most of us are ohh, sooooo sick of it...

So, for those of us who can't manage a tropical getaway right now, let's put together a playlist that will help banish the winter blues...

    Starting off with:

    Beach Boys - Kokomo
Beatles - Here Comes the Sun

    Suggestions?
When you start at zero, everything's progress.

            If you like country

            "Watermelon Crawl" by Tracy Byrd
"All Summer Long" by Kid Rock

And everything else I can think of has already been mentioned.
At the conclusion of an Irish wedding, the priest said "Everybody please hug the person who has made your life worth living. The bartender was nearly crushed to death.

If you like cheesy pop, Aqua's Heat of the Night and Good Morning Sunshine.

              Second Beach Boys.

Maybe Texas? They always sounded summery...

              Kinks' Sunny Afternoon.

Jester, how could you miss Howard Livingston's Livin' on Key West Time?

Agreed with Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

This is not so much sun-related as music that just lifts my spirits and makes me want to move, but Queen's Don't Stop Me Now and almmost anything by Daft Punk.

And of course, Katrina and Waves' Walking on Sunshine.

Human Resources - the adult version of "I'm telling Mom." - Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo (NCIS)

Oh hell yes, any Queen is da bomb!

And Dalesys, yeah, I thought of that one...One of our old faves at our house, but I didn't want to give anybody in Australia the creeps (what with the wildfires there...)

Simple. When you live in Key West, acts like Livingston and Michael McCloud are such a part or daily life, you often forget about them. Same way people who live in places like Florida and Arizona forget how awesome the sunrises and sunsets are, because they always see them.
