  • Anyone else play the Resonant Rise modpack for Minecraft?

If so, can someone tell me what this thingy is in the picture? There were several of them just sticking up out of the sand. I'm slowly-but-surely trying to unbury them, but I have no idea what they are.

All I can say is that they're made out of stained clay blocks. Where do you find the Resonant Rise modpack?

It's one of the modpacks in the ATLauncher. What's cool about it is you can choose which mods you want in the pack.

Now that I think about it, those constructs look like gears. I'll check the link out, thank you.

Definitely take a look at it when you get the chance. The launcher has all kinds of cool stuff on it. Resonant Rise, Pixelmon (all the fun of Pokemon with the graphics of Minecraft), Moonquest, and, if you're into that sorta thing, the Yogscast Complete Pack.

I play it too...but I can't figure out getting around the different worlds. I can barely find silicon.

The world traveling is my favorite. But I guess the yogscast thing on my copy isn't up-to-date...or is unsupported, rather. No more linking books!! That would have made my game so much easier!

Tama, are you talking about Mystcraft's linking books?

I think so. That was my hope, as it looked really fun...and VERY useful.

Was going to say its just Mesa-sand, but yeah thats a structure now I look closer.
I've got the AT Launcher installed, haven't touched it in a while. Mates and I are playing FTB - Infinity for the youtube channel, thats been fun, but hella complicated.

Tempted to host servers for this actually, if interest is there. even got a Teamspeak running.

I've discovered my new least-favorite mod- EiralIRC. @_@ It weirds me out (and is kinda annoying, IMO) to have conversations going on in my chat log when I'm on singleplayer.

On a happier note, I have done something I rarely do in Minecraft. I've set myself a particular goal. Specifically, it's a building goal. I am going to build this: http://archeagefurniture.com/wp-cont...etownhouse.png It's the house that, in ArcheAge, I would buy if I had enough of the game's currency to spend on it.

You might be able to disable it somehow. I'm not sure how you'd go about it, though.

Supposedly it can be done in-game, but it didn't work when I tried. I'll have to see if it can be done in the AT Launcher menu.

EDIT: Yep! It can. For anyone who needs to get rid of mods in AT Launcher- Go to your 'Instances' tab and click the modpack that needs fixing. Click the 'Edit Mods' button and a menu will come up showing all the mods you have in the pack. You can disable and enable things there.

Dangit. Not even 2 days after finishing this, my game stopped working. (Un)luckily, it doesn't seem to be a problem with my computer. The latest update made the game conflict with one of my favorite mods (Magical Crops).

Thanks for telling me. I don't think that I'll update now. I like having a diversified diet with magical crops.

I'm genuinely sad because I was going to start clearing out a space *for* my crops (I got way into Magical Crops when I started playing YCP). And for a chocobo pen because RR has Chococraft too.
