I spoke to him last night and he says that unless something else goes wrong meanwhile, they will probably let him go home today

I am home again from the hospital.. and had a heck of a time getting home. The vehicle we were riding in somehow got a hole in the gas tank.. so we were stranded without any phone or anything. By sheer fate we were near a dairy farm.. and one of the workers let us use their phone.. but that is not all. He came back THREE times to give me messages from AAA. He did not have to do that.

Anyhow, there was 4 of us, and only 2 are supposed to ride .. which would have left two stranded for a couple hours. But.. the driver 'bent' the rules and all four of us got back.

If it were a BEEF farm, I could understand him wanting to get away from the usual bullshit he dealt with.

Paging Argabarga: How common is it for a stranded vehicle to be carrying more than 2 people? I assume the 2 person limit is what's left of the bench seat's capacity after accounting for the driver. Would a "crew cab" increase the tow truck's length enough (affecting its ability to get into tight spaces) that it wouldn't be worth the number of "over 2 people" incidents?

I saw he posted an update on FB earlier that he finally made it home (after the car breaking down.)

Too bad he lives so far from me . . . I'd take Abby over to cheer him up (she thinks she a lap dog and that's just for starters.)

Sadly Teefies, it's not. Logged on here this morning to find a very brief message from him saying 'going to hospital, vomiting blood'. I checked Facebook straight away to see if there was anything more (his mom usually will keep me updated when she can) but nothing so far.

Mytical is out of the ICU, I spoke to him last night.

He said he's feeling OK, and he seemed cheerful enough (unless that was for my benefit) but the doctors are considering an operation (won't go into details, as that's his prerogative) and it's likely that he'll stay where he is until (a) they've decided if the op is the best thing for him, and (b) done the op, if that's what they decide to do.

Please keep him in your thoughts, everyone - I wish I didn't have to keep asking you to do that, but I know you will.
