Ok, don't think this will get many questions/replies, but if anybody has any questions about Heroes of might and magic, I can probably answer them. In fact used to be a moderator of a forum about it before I got sick. So if you are thinking about buying it (or have bought it) and have questions about it.. I will do my best to answer them. (From original to VI)
Lets start with the basics...
What IS Heroes of Might and Magic?
Heroes of might and magic is a empire and army building turn based strategy game. You build buildings, recruit creatures, then capture resources to do it again.. only bigger. You can capture enemy towns, and most of the time you can then convert it to your type of town. Now in some of the Heroes game you can have an army without a leader and they can still move around, for the most part though you have to have a hero leading your army.
General army info.
Again differs for some, but for the mass majority you can have 7 types of creatures in your army. There is no limit of how many of those 7 types your hero can lead, but it is wise not to mix and match different factions creatures unless you have the Moral Skill to offset the negative moral for doing so. Undead do not suffer moral problems, or gain moral benefits, but any army with undead in it suffer -2 instead of -1 for moral for any non undead units.
Benefits and penalties for Moral.
If your army has good moral, there is a chance that units will move twice. If they have negative moral there is a chance they will skip their turn. Moral is a Skill which you can get while leveling up. There are many skills from extra damage, extra defense, to making siege weapons more effective.
