A funny zinger my wife said at our local bowling center...

Few months back. We decided to go bowling. We load up the family, and drive to our local bowling center.

Turns out a "traveling league" (yes, there is such a thing) is there.

So we weren't able to bowl that night. On the way out, I pointed to a sign that had some of the "benefits" of bowling, and said to my wife, "Look! It says bowling is good exercise."

She looks at me and says, paraphrased, "You do realize that most of the people in there we just saw were fat, right??"

I had to have a laugh about that one...

Husband: 'I hear you like Mudkips.'

Me: "I don't like mudkips. I like Brock Lesnar."

Driving husband to the airport to catch a flight to New Orleans for a conference.

Me: "Oh, I know you got out some money, but it's all 20s. I have some ones in my wallet if you need them."

Husband: 'Oh, really?"

Pardon the hijack, but you mentioning Brock Lesnar and Pokemon effectively in one breath brings this to mind. One of the nicknames Brock acquired on a wrestling forum I visit is "Brockle Snar" because his Twitter handle used to be ALL CAPS, and if you didn't know, you wouldn't know where the words ended. Someone then commented that "Brockle Snar" sounds like some kind of Pokemon.

LOL, this was after Brock Lesnar tore off a car door with his bare hands. I was appropriately impressed.

Yup, Brock is a legitimately terrifyingly strong human being.

I liked that his reaction to Seth Rollins and his cronies waiting to attack him with axe handles was to basically go "Axe handles are for pussies. Real men use an actual fucking axe."

I doubt that was the look that CM Punk (the aforementioned guy with a beard) was going for. I think he was going for more of a Wolverine look.
