  • Kitty thought that looked fun

First, I sincerely apologize. I have no pictures to share. I accept my punishment and throw myself at your mercy. Forgive me.

My SIL told me this. She has been taking care of her nephew (2yr) and son (8mo) while her sister was having a very difficult delivery in Wichita. They are fine, but the new baby needs to stay another 6 weeks, so the mother is staying in Ronald McDonald's house.

The when the nephew wants to take a bath, he will get all his bath toys and put them in the tub. He does this every day.

After the bath, SIL was drying off the children and noticed a black thing in the water. The new kitty had jumped in the tub because he wanted to play too!!! He was a farm cat, he has been wet before and does not mind water, he even enjoys it. Just swimming about and having fun.

Just the thought of a kitty enjoying a bath sounds adorable to me. (and farm cats know the value of work, they will hunt down every last rodent God Bless them)
I might be crazy, but I'm not Insane.

What? You don't play with flamethrowers on the weekends? You are strange.

One of our cats was a farm cat; she loved jumping in the tub, but afterwards raced around like her fur was on fire and absolutely hated getting a real bath.

I have a cat that doesn't seem to mind water. Like most Maine Coons, Baxter is very curious about water, and will occasionally play with his toys in his water dish. He'll even jump in the tub and roll around, after I've showered. But...if I throw water on him, or give him a bath...he flips out
