  • Jet Lag

My husband has started his new job, and is out of training! He is now shadowing a more experienced guy, in Murfreesboro, TN, and flew up there yesterday. He didn't know that it was in a different time zone, and fell asleep on the plane, and is now struggling with minor jet lag, since it's only an hour behind. I've not flown since I was 2, and he'd never flown before, so I'm not sure what to tell him to help with the jet lag other than just getting more sleep, lol. Any ideas?

I switch from Central Time to Alaskan Time and back again every Summer and Fall. What I have found that works for me is to force myself to adapt to the new time zone as much as possible. For example if I normally go to bed at 10 P.M. then I'll go to bed at that time in the new time zone.

Sleep! Once I get enough my jet lag goes away. And I travel a lot through many zones.
