  • Picturing CS Members? What do you think they look like?

    Hi everyone.

Was thinking about how I "picture" the people who post here regularly, and thought it might be fun to ask others how you assume those who post most regularly look IRL. Please don't give details about what people actually look like if you know, this is only about what we imagine inside our own heads.

Jester: tall, skinny, with dark hair and a "don't mess with me" frown when irritated by noisy Key West tourists.

Argabarga: when I first joined I saw him a tall biker type. I still see him that way even though he says he looks like a Hobbit.

Irv: Also Hobbit-like (mostly due to having a picture of Frodo as his Avatar when I joined). I see him as looking like my uncles did when they were younger: short, but good physique, and slightly-worn jeans from working backroom.

    Food Lady:
Mid-height, straight blonde hair bundled under a food service cap, but open and kind face.

I assume people think I look like a small, tan-colored dog with big ears.

Didn't we used to have a photo album for members who wanted to could post pictures of themselves?

we did but someone "outed" it and IRL stalkers occurred.
Honestly.... the image of that in my head made me go "AWESOME!"..... and then I remembered I am terribly strange.-Red dazes

I think I recall that happening.

And that, unfortunately, ruined it for all. A lot of us also have pages on social media sites (such as Facebook) but even then there have been incidents w/RL issues spilling over onto the Internet life.

If you want to picture me, imagine a fat chick who likes to wear fit and flare dresses with leggings. Unless I'm just staying home all day. Then picture a fat chick in pajamas, answering your calls to the cable company. XD

Interesting. My hair actually looks like this, but a foot longer now: http://i608.photobucket.com/albums/t.../dreamhair.jpg

I imagine you with blonde wavy hair.

I look just like my avatar, give or take a few details. I'll leave you to decide which ones.
I would have a nice day, but I have other things to do.

I resemble a real-life, middle aged Velma from Scooby-Doo (no, not the Linda Cardellini version, I wish I did!) with much longer hair and no orange in the wardrobe.

I was recently informed that I look like David Foster Wallace except for the fact that my hair is to my waist and I have a bushy hipster beard complete with a mustache whose ends are curled like the villain's in a silent movie.

I've been told I resemble Jack Black...but my wife doesn't think so.

I have a "Simpsons" avatar that is actually a pretty good representation of what I look like...well, at least my face, anyway...and when I'm clean-shaven...

I've changed my avatar to reflect it...I'm only going to keep it up temporarily.
