What amuses me about this thread, at least in relation to me, is that, while I never posed in the photo album (at least not that I remember, but I've had a few beers over the years, so who knows?), I have posted numerous pictures of myself on this site over the years.

And yet....

Jester: tall, skinny, with dark hair and a "don't mess with me" frown when irritated by noisy Key West tourists.

Someone imagines me as tall? Riiiiiiiight.

Here is a list of people who would think I am in way tall:

--Children.
--Little People.
--My sisters, my mother, and any other people who are really short. (No women Inc family top five feet.)
--Anyone who's seen a picture of me with my mom and sisters, who didn't know about the previous fact. (I actually do look tall in those pictures, but it's all about frame of reference, and I'm standing next to three very short women.)
--Many guys who have dated my nieces, even if said guys were taller than me. Probably because fear changes one's perceptions.

For the record, I am a whopping 5'8", and I've had people question that listing, because I don't always have the best posture.

Back to the description....half of the time when tourists are irritating me, I am working behind the bar, so I have to hide my true emotions. And I have no problem with noisy tourists. Just stupid ones.

And while I used to be quite skinny (130 lbs), now I guess I'm medium, as I'm 160+, depending on the day and the beers.

The description of Jester is close, but not quite. I will say that his "look" that's supposed to be fierce just makes me giggle.

To be fair, as I told you at the time, faking said look is borderline impossible. Enough guys have been terrified by the genuine article that I'm satisfied it's effective. So neener neener, mathnerd. Lol!

Sure, I have an ego and attitude that could dunk on Shaq, but do that many people here really think I'm tall?

And blonde?!? Lol! The only relatives I've had that were ever blonde were my little sister, through dye, and my stepsister, who is not biologically related to me. My ancestors come from an Eastern European stock. Russian, Polish, Romanian. Dark brown hair on me, and my older sister's hair and complexion are dark enough that she is often confused for Italian. (Only our stomachs are Italian.)

Basically I just picture everybody here as Keebler elves.
