and all the other food delivery people. Also, the grocery store employees. It's the night no one wants to cook and everyone forgot to get eggs this week. I'd like to call it Black Wednesday.

May as well throw a shout-out to the fast food and other restaurant people as well. I grabbed dinner from Wendy's tonight, not only because I didn't feel like cooking but also as a treat to myself because tonight was the first time in months I left work feeling like I actually accomplished something.

I have eggs. And milk. And bread.

Yeah, we are about to head to the grocery store. In our defense, we are at my MIL's house and we didn't have space in the car for groceries with five people, a parrot and our overnight bags.

Actually we were kinda dead and slow for TG Eve. Usually we get killed. Nope just steady like a regular Wed. night. The only reason we got out late was for the trickle and dribble of orders in the last hour.

I was going to go get potatoes but ended up in traction for an hour and a half after work. That doesn't work with being car-free. Oh well; at least I was one less person clogging it all up.

It was Black-Friday-busy but we only had 6 cashiers at the most. I didn't lift anything I wasn't supposed to, but the sheer amount of work I did put me in so much pain that I went straight home. I was in agony with a trapped nerve the last 2 hours and I knew there was no way I was going to be able to leave early on a 5.5-hour shift unless I left in an ambulance or something. You're not supposed to do traction if it hurts, but I did anyway. I had to get that disk off that nerve.
