My male cat, Fizzgig, seems to have a bit of a shoe fetish, too. I get pompoms (the little craft puffs) for cat toys. He'll drop the toy into one of my shoes just so he can dig it out again.

Fizzgig also seems to be in love with his own voice. He'll just start meowing for no apparent reason. Sometimes I'll say his name and he'll stop, but other times he'll just walk around meowing for 10 minutes or longer. He's also the type who will zoom into closets that are normally closed. He only listens to me when I say "Out!" about half the time.

He also has the built-in clock. He normally starts making noise (knocking things off furniture, etc.) about 15 minutes before my alarm goes off. It was much worse after DST changed. His internal clock was an hour earlier than mine, and he started making noise an hour earlier than usual. That lasted a few weeks until he got used to my schedule again.

Fizzgig and Pixxy, my female cat, also do the thing where they chase each other around the place. Usually when I'm trying to fall asleep.
"I look at the stars. It's a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That's where I'll be going soon. "We are all star stuff." I suddenly remember Delenn's line from Joe's script. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all."
