  • Update On the Mew Kitties

Yesterday, Gidget's babies turned 4 weeks. We luckily haven't lost any (other than the one that was apparently stillborn) and they are doing quite well.

Have named the two multicolored girls: larger one is Gigi, the smaller one is Mitzi. Still trying to come up with names for the other 4 (the two solid grays and two gray stripe w/white feets.)

Thought you'd enjoy a few recent pics from the past couple of days:

    SQUEE!!!!!

Does look like Mama's getting a tad overwhelmed by volume of babies.

They are all so beautiful! Of course with such a beautiful mother, how could they not be?

            SQUEE!!!!!

Does look like Mama's getting a tad overwhelmed by volume of babies.
I think she's starting to get a touch overwhelmed . . . she'll take breaks from them by hiding out on top of my bed (they can't climb up that high yet) or she'll go to the dining room.

But since the weekend, Aunt Pasquinel has been hanging out with them in the bedroom and under the bed. She's taken up with them and won't let them out of her sight long, either.

Poor kitty . . . she's about to pop as well (seems as if this is contagious this spring) and I'll come home and find pieces of gray fur everywhere and no cat.

And Tinkerbelle has had another litter (they are 2 weeks old yesterday) but I've not been able to get pics of them b/c she's got them underneath a tall dresser in the corner of Mom's bedroom (and I can't squeeze myself down there between the bed and the dresser like I used to could.) I know she has 2 black and two gray/white.

One thing about it: life isn't dull around here at the moment.

Thats cool, My Boxer wants a cat not really sure why but when we go to the Pet Smart for his food he drags me over to the cats and snuffles at the glass then stars at me then snuffles at the glass again. He tries to lick every cat he sees regardless of the fact they seem to hate him. I have to keep him away from them as he keeps getting clawed on the nose. He never learns he is an 80 pound lap baby lol.

His name isn't Marc Anthony by any chance, is it?

                        Let's see . . .

Tinkerbelle and Poodles . . . plus the two who live w/Buddy in the dog lot (Smokey and Ginger) . . . . then add in Bubbie, Gary, Pasquinel and Gidget.

That alone is 8. Then add in the kittens.

                        Gidget's 6, Pasquinels' 4 and Tinker's 4.

I want to say that's 22. I'd say that definitely qualifies us for Cathouse of the Block.

And I caught a glimpse Friday of Tinekrbelle's kittens, who did venture out from under the dresser for a short bit. Unfortunately, I left Goldie (my new Galaxy s7 edge) in the dining room, so by the time I thought about going to get her and take some pics, they had went back under the dresser.

Hopefully I'll see them again soon . . . the 6 are now 6 weeks old and all over the place. And the youngest set are just opening their peepers.

As far as names go, we have named the 6 baby Goos . . . they are:

                        Gigi
                        Mitzi
                        Ellie
                        George
                        Homer
                        Fudge

                        Pics are forthcoming.
