    Why is it snowing the May long weekend? Seriously, what the hell?

    This is so unfair.

    So it can be 80 and sunny here in Minnesota.

        Several years ago we visited Denver in late May (at exactly this time of year). While there we drove through a mini-blizzard on the peak-to-peak drive between Boulder and Estes Park. Such fun!

          Same can be said about here in Cheeseheadland Central.

          But then back about 3 maybe 4 years ago we got a semi-snowfall the 2d week in May. I had to scramble after work to get the snow off of my roses and other plants and hastily cover them with old blankets.

            I'm not complaining. I live up in northern BC, and there's forest fires north of us. We had about three inches of snow Thursday, it kept snowing Friday and cleared up Saturday. Today it looks like spring (again).

            Yes, the colder weather has moved east and is helping control the big Fort Mac fire.

              This is true... although I wish all the rain would move a bit further north. Cowtown doesn't need it. :P

                <looks outside>

                So that I wouldn't have a huge snow dump in May for one year at least?
