  • CS Bead Swap?

The hoarding offshoot of the "Your definition of 'used'..." thread made me think of this...well, and the fact that my bead stash is competing with Mom's knitting stash for hostile takeover of the living room

I know we have a number of crafters here, and was wondering if anyone would be interested in a bead swap (do we have enough beaders?). I know I have amassed some stuff that I know I'll never use but it's too nice to toss or Goodwill (I don't think the thrift stores near me will take craft materials anyway).

Not sure of the logistics/details yet, but first interest has to be gotten.

Who said BEADS?? I distinctly heard the word BEADS!!!

Yeah, I kinda have a large stash. There are probably some things I will never use. Not sure I will have the initiative to go through everything, although a swap would certainly be a good excuse to finally get that done. But I probably won't have time until about mid-July. Would that work for you?

If you don't get enough folks here, you might consider selling your extras on a Facebook group. I know there's one called Stash Unload (for the USA) where you can sell embroidery supplies including seed beads and other beads that would be used with cross stitching. I'd imagine there are other sale groups aimed at beading supplies too.

It's a more targeted audience than craigslist or ebay, so you can get better prices.

BEADS!!! Beads, beads, beads!!! \0/ I like hoard beads, crystals and stones.
Figers are vicious I tell ya. They crawl up your leg and steal your belly button lint.

        I'm a case study.
