Things We Do In Memory of Our Pets
What kind(s) of things do any of you do in memory of a pet that has passed? What I do is donate to the charity that my store is currently doing and if possible write down my cat's name and how long he lived.

I should have thought of donating, but I make memorials. My rabbits have flagstones on my garden path that I carved their pictures and names into, along with my 2-rats. My hamster and birds have cement memorials. My Beardie has a rock with a statue of a lizard on it. All the other pets have a wooden plaque in the garden that I carve the names and dates into.... I have a friend who does ceramics; she makes and sells little statues of cats, about 3/4 life-size. They're not any particular likeness, but she'll paint them for me to resemble my cats who have passed on. I complete the likeness by putting collars on them with tags engraved with their names.
They reside in various places around the house. I like to think that they watch over the kittens I've adopted.Comment
