  • Looking for a recipe

I had a sweet potato dish the other day that was really good but I have no way of finding out the recipe and hope that maybe someone here has had something similar.

The only ingredient I could identify positively was chili powder and they were pretty generously covered with it. The dish almost had an Indian curry type flavor to it, but not to the extent that I would call it an Indian dish.

Also, the potatoes were cut into bite-size pieces and the pieces were dry--didn't stick to each other.

I would suspect that wasn't a recipe as such, just something someone came up with... I woulds suggest cutting up a sweet potato into pieces, tossing it with olive oil and chili powder, plus whatever spices you like, and baking the pieces at 400 until they're crispy.

Alternatively, if you google spicy sweet potatoes you find a lot of good stuff. http://gourmandeinthekitchen.com/201...arrots-recipe/ This looks nice.

Yeah, I did do a search before I posted but the ones I found were pretty basic. One did have garlic, paprika, onion powder and brown sugar so I might try it. That one you posted looks really good. I'll probably try it too. Luckily my family likes sweet potatoes
