  • A No Good, Very Bad Day

I was in a car accident today. I was turning left at a green light, and got t-boned by a big truck. He hit my passenger side, and spun my car around a bit, knocked my glasses off, left a big bruise from the seatbelt, and sprained my big toe. Other than that, I'm ok, other than a headache. My car, on the other hand, I think it might be totaled.

This is the first accident I've been in for over ten years! Even though when I was turning, the lane was clear, and the guy was speeding through a very busy intersection, they found me at fault, because there is no specific turn signal; it's turn at your own risk. I'm just hoping that my insurance company is easy to deal with, and that this isn't going to be as bad a nightmare as I'm worried it will be.

    Ah jeez, glad you're okay.

It's things like this why I have a dashcam.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, you speak with the Fraud department. -- CrazedClerkthe2nd
OW! Rolled my eyes too hard, saw my brain. -- Seanette
she seems to top me in crazy, and I'm enough crazy for my family. -- Cooper
Yes, I am evil. What's your point? -- Jester

Just curious, but different people have different ideas of what constitutes a large truck. Was it an F150 (or equivalent), an LCV (highway tractor pulling TWO 53 foot trailers), or something in between? Glad you're OK.
Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.

It was a Toyota Tundra. So, large in the pickups, but not the size of an 18 wheeler.

Glad you're okay. Hope the insurance stuff goes well/smoothly.
1129. I will refrain from casting Dimension Jump and Magnificent Mansion on every police box we pass.
