Since I hurt my back and can't do much else, I'm gonna work on my cards tonight.

First two cards in today, Captain Neon and Lurking Sockpuppet.

Now to go get my labels printed. I can never get it right on my own.

Bought some glitter markers to enhance my already slightly glittery cards. Not sure how it's going to work out. But more is always better than less.

Today I sent out all of my cards. I used up the leftover cards from years past in case anyone thinks they look familiar. So three of you will get the glittery cards. And each of the three kiddies, as well as their CS sponsor, will get their own card.

Just got back from spending quality time with the fam for Turkey Day. As it happens, the glittery bit of cloth they had draped upon it shed on my clothes to no end, so I ended up festooned with the stuff. Reminded me of sending cards to you guys and seeing y'all respond with shouts of joy and tales of terminally-overloaded vacuum cleaners. Ahhhh, good times. Hopefully, I'll be able to rejoin the fracas next year ^_^

    *claims the first-one-home*

Captain Neon's biblically-enhanced card(Matthew 1:21) has made it,despite the US Post Office's attempts to jazz it up by a)printing the postmark upside down b)on the front of the card c)at the bottom of the card... so with the wavy lines on the postmark,it looks like the car is emerging from a giant puddle... I shall try and get an image of hilarity for you all to share...

Yesterday I bought a book of holiday stamps. I still have 7 geometric snowflakes from last year.

I'm the world's most terrible photoshop artist. I actually thought about that, but then realized it would look even worse than the original shots. I think I'm going to go with the one where Leo and Charlotte look good and Goofy is earning his name.

I'm having a terrible time deciding which photo to use for my cards. I did a photo shoot with my birdies yesterday for them, and took at least 100 shots, but maybe closer to 200, and a handful of them are mostly good. In that many shots, there isn't one where all three birds were being awesome at the same time.

apart from Rhode Island, which we have taken over whilst no-one was looking.No-one seems to have noticed though,so you can't be missing it that much
Last time I was in Rhode Island was for a wedding that took place at a Revolutionary War fort. So suck it, Englishman!
