Is it weird that as I approach 40, I'm not afraid to be exceedingly girly? I would never have been so pink when I was younger.

The thread title reminded me of this song.

I don't think I've ever encountered a song more clearly written while on questionable substances.

But back on topic: I never really had a problem with pink, I don't like making everything pink (think Barbie) but I have pink shirts I'll wear, pink nail polish, things like that. Your bike itself is a bit too pink for my tastes but I love the helmet (and may be more than a little jealous).

You would have to be incredibly dense for the world to revolve around you.

The tread title reminded me of this (sightly modified) song chorus:

My bike is a very, very, very fine bike with two tires on the ground,
Riding used to be so hard,
Now everything is easy 'cause of you and our—
"I don't have to be petty. The Universe does that for me."

Aragarthiel, that's hilarious! Because that's not the helmet, that's the bell, BUT I totally have a matching Day of the Dead helmet on order. It's going to be spectacular!

And I was totally singing that song when I named this thread...

*squints at screen* I... see that now. But it's still really cool. And I'm still really jealous.

Me too! Love me some early Floyd!!
