  • The curious incident of the jacket in the nighttime

I want to buy a jacket. Specifically, I want to buy this jacket.

The problem is that if I go by the chest measurements on the chart there on the page, I'm supposed to buy a size XXXL jacket, and that is not a jacket. That is a car cover. I've tried asking customer service on that site, to no avail. I've tried texting them. I tried contacting the company, in Pakistan, itself, to no avail. My question is if the sizes in the chart are American sizes or not, and how well they translate to the sizes you can actually order.

I've had this problem before, when I ordered some quite stylish vests off the internet, only to find that the sizes were Korean and not American. That was a problem because the average American pet is apparently larger than the average Korean man. I could have used my size XXL vests as doll clothing. Or I could have literally put them on my cat.

So what do I do here? I do not want to purchase a stylish tent. I especially do not want to buy a coat that I can't even get an arm into.

Any advice? Does anyone have experience in figuring out the right size to buy when you're shopping for clothing you can't see and touch beforehand? I wish I could give someone my measurments and just have them tell me if the damn thing would fit.

Sharp jacket. I can see your concern, per the chart, the 5XL is too small for me. Usually a 2XL is fine.

It looks like the return policy is not conducive to guessing at sizing.

Personally, I would find a better place to buy a jacket. Sounds too risky to me.

I'm pretty sure that, if you call, they'll just refer you to the size chart on the website. I doubt they'd be in the same building or location as the factory these are made in, either.

Judging from the page, they may not even be on the same continent...
