  • NOT FOR YOU!!!

So I have discovered my dog has been climbing the cat tree and eating the cat's food.
She's been sneaky, I caught her by accident. She must be part goat.
So of course I yelled "Bad dog! Not for you! Get down from there!" etc at her.
No wonder the cat is thin and always asking for food!
I caught her up there again... repeat the yelling.

So took the bottom step off.
I play my computer game, feed the animals their dinner, dog eats hers, lays down under my desk while I play my game, and then I go lay down to read.

The dog starts barking instead of coming in to lay down with me while I read.
    What IS she barking at?
Are neighbors in their yard making noise? No
Is that neighborhood dog that gets out and comes to visit stopping by? No

She's mad she can't get to the cat food anymore! She's barking at the cat tree!

    Sorry but I laughed.

When we had Pablo we had to move the cats' food up into the bay window to keep him away from it. There's a bird feeder right outside the window so they got dinner and a show every day. (Pablo got his food in the recliner with someone sitting with him most days. He trained my mom but good.)

Try putting the dog food at the base of the cat tree. Might make him forget about the higher level food.
