I'm currently taking an IT Analysis and Design class, and the textbook has a Dilbert cartoon relevant to each chapter.

I'm not sure if I should laugh or be worried.

You do realize that Scott Adams gets/got most of his ideas from people out in the world so it might just be relevant in a humorous way.

Those cartoons are there to tell you what not to do.

Before I retired from the Patent Office I would modify an occasional Dilbert cartoon to better fit the Patent Office culture. I had a few friends (including supervisors) who would make suggestions. What was scary was how many fit without any modification.

And how many people here know the other Scott Adams?
