    The "S" Thing.

Recently I caught a link about this, and realized that people all over the world draw it. I was flabbergasted. (or not, I just like that word) I thought the S stood for Seattle or possibly Seahawks, since that's in my state. But people in the UK draw it. People in California. Everywhere, apparently. People associate it with a brand called Stussy, which I've never heard of, but the symbol predates that brand and was never a part of their logo. I gather. Could be wrong.

...Yeah I guess that's it. Anyone else draw this as a kid?

Yup. Even before I associated it with music (never heard of Stussy's). Just trying to remember WHICH band x.x

I read recently about someone making a whole font to go with that letter... Of course, I don't remember where or when!!
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers

Never drawn that or heard of it, never heard of Stussy either.

Doesn't Suzuki use a variation on that?
