I just got a form I have to fill out in regard to jury duty. It's totally random from where I'm sitting and sent in the mail with no electronic notice. If I don't return it within 10 days there's a $500 fine. Um, people go out of town, end up in the hospital, spend time between two homes.... You can't always get stuff back in time, especially if no one else lives there who can open the mail. In one of those cases you don't even know you received it and then it isn't completed and you're out money you may not have. Gov't. entities smh. I shouldn't be surprised; they are my company's customers and I see how clueless some of them can be.
