I just wanted to wish everybody and their loved ones a Happy/Merry Christmas!

I had a pleasantly relaxing day and got almost nothing worthwhile done!

I flew interstate to spend time with both my family and the SO's family.

We did secret santa this year (the re-enactor club my partner and I are members of refer to it as "secret satan" so I really need to catch myself so I don't do it to my family! ) with my family and the results were surprisingly effective. Unfortunately though, whoever handled the drawing did it kind of lazily where the gift-giver and the recipient were mostly the same (eg I gave a gift to my aunt and she got me a gift).

I also got to meet the newest member of the family - he's 4 months now and absolutely adorable. (He's also the firstborn of one of my cousins). He's proven to be capable of already recognising the difference between his mum and his auntie (cousins in question are identical twins), which took me YEARS to figure out .
Surprisingly he looks very much like his mum more than his dad . We've also established that I have no clue how to handle babies .

Happy with the haul too - we were able to get everything in our suitcase, although I swear I need a bigger one now!
