On Wednesday, I took Kitty to the vet. The vet examined her and was pleased with her progress (no respiratory distress this time).
I'd been researching nasal polyps in the interim, and told the vet that I think she's right - I think it's polyps. One or more, I don't know. The vet looked in one ear, which was clear. When she looked in the other ear, though, she saw that the eardrum appeared to have something pressing on it. That "something" may well be a polyp.
The vet explained that these polyps are common among cats, as is asthma (for which Kitty is now being treated). To be sure of the diagnosis, she recommended a CT scan. I made an appointment for next week.
